With 2020 behind us I’m ready to welcome in 2021. My husband and I normally don’t stay awake until midnight to welcome in the new year but this year we did. We just didn’t want to wake up and realize that 2020 had found some sneaky way to keep going.
I have a sometimes annoying habit of thinking up good things that may come out of something bad. It’s become a game to me. The biggest and most positive thing that happened in 2020 was that I finished my book Rise of the Winged Assassin and the paperback is available now on Amazon and Barns N Noble. The digital format will be out probably by the end of January, along with the official kick off for marketing, already making 2021 a great year.
One other thing that I feel is a positive is that so many companies, mine included, shifted to having their employees work from home. My focus and productivity has gone sky high without the distractions that come with the office and the money I’m saving from toll roads, gas and wear and tear on my Jeep is fantastic. I’m also not wasting two hours and a half a day driving, which rolls back into time spent on work. I hope this trend continues.
For my 2021 resolutions and some fun life markers
Officially go live on the publication of my book in paperback and digital copies- end of January
Write the second book in the series – outlining is already completed
Lose 25 pounds- typical new year’s resolution for many of us
Create a trailer for Rise of the Winged Assassin
Tala gets a new hip
I’m turning 50 and my daughter is turning 30
My husband and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary in September
What are your New Year’s Resolutions or fun like markers in 2021? Do you plan to go on a trip? Or perhaps accomplish something that you’ve dreamed of doing but never thought possible?
Until Next Time! 2021 is going to be great!
