I’m an author and avid reader of fantasy and science fiction novels and wrote my first, somewhat questionable, short story when I was eight. Training in kenjustu tends to weave its way into my writing and many times battle scenes are played out with water noodles, instead of my training katanas, to protect the innocent from harm.
When I’m not geeking out at work as an Infrastructure Solutions Architect, I’m dreaming up new characters and adventures to share with my readers. My backup hobbies are cycling, reading and enjoying the outdoors. I currently live in Spring Texas with my husband Peter, my daughter Stephanie, and two mostly good, very sweet rescue dogs Tala and Taz.

When I create a character I can visualize what they look like in my mind and then I seek out a picture of someone who looks like them.
